I’ve lived in Chesham since 2015 and my daughters Cara (Year 1) and Jessica (Nursery) both attend Elmtree. It’s been wonderful to see both children thrive whilst being in the school and I’m excited to be able to serve on the Governors Committee.
As a social researcher in the Civil Service and former school training administrator, I have a long-standing keen interest in education, encouraging pupil happiness and to reach the best they can be. My eldest daughter Cara has Down’s syndrome, so I have a particular interest in SEND and helping to ensure that Elmtree remains the inclusive, supportive place we all value so highly, but look forward to feeding parents' views into the governors from across the whole school community. I am a former chair and current fundraising officer to a local charity (Sparkles) so have lots of experience working within committees that I can apply to this role.
