I have recently retired as a Headteacher of an Infant school where I took it from a ‘Good’ Ofsted rating to an ‘Outstanding’ Ofsted rating. I have also mentored two headteachers and supported a school moving it from Satisfactory to Good. My first career was as a producer and film director for News and Current Affairs in the BBC but I have always had a passion for education so after 12 years working in the media I left to train as a teacher. I live locally and have three children who were all educated in the state sector in Buckinghamshire. I love the ethos of Elmtree Infant school and feel privileged to have the opportunity to be on the board of governors to support this wonderful school.
