We will be learning about boys and girls bodies and this includes teaching the parts of the body which make boys and girls different. This unit is called ’Changing Me’. We will look at how people change as they get older. This will also include discussing ways in which our bodies have changed since we were a baby and recognising the differences between boys and girls, using the correct names for the parts of the body (penis, anus, testicles, vagina, vulva) and appreciating that some parts of our body are private. This is a statutory requirement for all schools.
