My wife (Lily) and I first moved to Chesham in 2007 and swiftly fell for the place. Our youngest two children are at Elmtree (Ella in reception and Alastair in nursery); our eldest Izzy goes to Thomas Harding. The son and grandson of a teacher, I have always held a strong belief in the importance of schools and education and am thrilled to be a governor.
I read Computer Science at Nottingham and have spent my career in the same field. For the last ten years I have led development teams for trading funds in New York and London. Prior to this I have written software for a wider range of sectors: defence, medical informatics, and pensions administration. I am happiest when solving a puzzle — at heart, I am a Rubik’s cube nerd.
I look forward to helping Elmtree thrive as a friendly, nurturing, and lively place of learning in the community.
