At Elmtree, we have a group called Parent Voice. We meet once every half term to discuss all different aspects of the relationship between school and home. These might include the induction process, how we market our school, communicate or deal with concerns but does not include fundraising or governance issues.

Parent Voice has made adjustments to the induction process to help the children settle into School and Nursery more easily. We also introduced an informal feedback session for Nursery parents that takes place 4 weeks after the children have started.  It’s an opportunity, over tea and biscuits, to talk about their first month.  We also plan and organise Elmtree's successful Annual Open Days in October. Existing and potential parents are invited to this celebration of everything outstanding at Elmtree.

We also have guest speakers on a range of topics. For example; managing children's behaviour and children's speech.

All parents/carers are welcome to join us at Parent Voice meetings.  We hope to see you there. The meetings are held in the School Library.
