I joined the Governing Body as the staff governor in June 2017. I have been teaching at Elmtree since November 2013 and have taught in both Reception and Year One. As well as my teaching duties, I also act as the science lead and the school curriculum lead.
My goal as staff governor is to act as a bridge between the Governing Body and staff so that Elmtree can continue to thrive for the benefit of children, parents, staff and the wider Elmtree community. I look forward to working with the rest of the governors to make Elmtree a great place for children to learn, grow and flourish.
Originally from Scotland, I did my teacher training at Edinburgh University. I now live in South Bucks with my husband and three sons.
I am passionate about the work that the Elmtree staff does to inspire our children on a daily basis. I hope to bring that passion to my role on the Governing Body.
